Practica
An informal Tango practice where students are welcome to try the dance steps they learned in class, or just have fun dancing.

Tango 1
Tango basics. How to walk, the embrace, how to lead and follow, connection and musicality. Milonga basics. Have fun and meet friends.

Tango 2: Technique Class
Focus on the execution of the steps learned in other tango classes:  foot position, posture, precision, accuracy, musicality, rhythm, balance. Women and Men bring flat shoes. We exchange leader/follower roles in this class.

Tango 3
Go to the next level of tango salon: sacadas, barridas, boleos and more. Increase variety in your repertoire and add flare to your dancing. Have fun and meet your friends.

Tango 4
Performance Team class. Learn a tango routine to perform. Intensive class.

Heels 1
Feel and look beautiful on heels. Makela created this technique class where elements from ballet, modern dance and yoga meet with tango to train a great body to dance freely. Foot position with heels, ornaments, styling, posture and fluidity. Men welcome without heels

Heels 2
Take Heels 1 to the next level by challenging with speed and balance exercises. Feel and look beautiful on heels. Note for absolute beginners:
If you do not know how to dance tango at all, you should start at the absolute beginner class on Saturdays at 4:30 at DSN1 (check announcements on the home page for the date of the next one). You can also drop in any time on Mondays at the Electric Lodge. About shoes: women: please do not bring flip flops or any kind of sandals that have unsupported ankle. Make sure that you are very comfortable in the shoes you are wearing. For both men and women: make sure that the shoes you are wearing have leather, suede sole or any kind of sole that allows you to pivot and to slide on the floor.
