Milonga Dance
according to Makela Tango
"MILONGA": an event where people dance
tango socially. 'Tango Club'.'Milonga' also
means a type of tango dancing which is faster and playful.
What is milonga?
Milonga means two different things:
- The social event where people meet
to dance tango. 'Tango Club', 'Tango Party'
- A type of dance and music
which is faster, more playful, and mischievous. It is a lot of fun.
The milonga dance has to be learned separately. It works with
syncopation and specific steps.
You can learn MILONGA with Makela Tango. New milonga series starting on
Sept 18th.
